Joy — Audit Deck Review Call Script (loose)

Deck: https://joyride-audit.previewlabs.app/deck · Report already in her hands (live URL, updated 8/16 pre-call per the Codex Sol pre-flight in codex-sol-preflight-2026-08-15.md). Goal of the call: she leaves clear, impressed, and ready to green-light phase one. You drive the screen share; she should talk ~40% of the time.

8/16 pre-flight rule for the whole call: every number gets one of three labels out loud when it matters: measured (Lighthouse, form counts, Search Console), her own words (cabin price), or my judgment (competitor board). Assume she pastes the report and deck into ChatGPT afterward and asks "is this real, and should I hire him." Say nothing on the call that a skeptical GPT could catch the report not backing.

Call: SUNDAY 8/16, 9:00 AM ET per the Cal.com record (Joy said 10:30; her invite says 9:00), one hour, Cal Video in the browser: https://app.cal.com/video/soXsL4UtfBpgGsPF1BDyqH. Nothing to download. Granola on before joining. Fifth reschedule landed here; if a charter takes this one too, the break-glass move is the recorded deck walkthrough + 15-minute Q&A, and milestone 2 submits on the delivered audit regardless.

Three questions the script did not prepare for (added 8/16 from the Sol pre-flight)

What Sol changed and why (so you're not surprised on screen)

Deck and report both updated 8/16 pre-call. Gone: "3 out of 4," "not a demand problem," "removed from Google's reach," "Wix's tool is faulted / verified bypass," "trust score 2 out of 10" as a measurement, "$0" on the solution cards, "every number measured," "every finding verified," "nine screens," Swell Design named as fact, "never listed" the menu, the fifties-and-sixties line. Added: 42-inquiries card with the honest conversion caveat, "no new fee" wording with build labor named, forwarding as "documented route, built and live-tested in phase one," written-scope-before-approval on the last slide. Joyride Charters, implementation scope: $1,435 fixed

Drafted 2026-08-16 for the proposal page (the scopeItems array plus the Investment and Client Obligations sections). Client-facing wording; zero em-dashes. Fixed price, no hourly billing.

What this is. Everything on the Mine list in your audit report (section 7, "The work"), which is phases one and two of the ninety-day plan, plus the findability fixes from the Greece discovery. Phase three, the trip catalog and master trip page, is a build rather than a fix and is quoted separately once this is live.

The price. $1,435, fixed, for every line below. It does not move if an item takes longer than expected. Billing runs through Upwork escrow in two milestones of $717.50: the first when work starts, the second when every line below is checked off.

The line items

#ItemWhat you getHow you know it is doneNeeds from you
1Forwarding, built and live-testedThe developer-layer route that carries every old trip link to the right current page. Includes straightening the chained forwards (the Abaco link that hops four times) and carefully resolving the unfinished translation add-on that shares the same machinery. Wix support ticket filed from your account alongside it.I click each of the five old Greece and Croatia links in front of you and each lands on the right live trip in one hop. Same for the old Abaco link.Your OK to file the Wix ticket from your account.
2Instant reply on both inquiry formsAutomatic reply within seconds of a form submission: confirms the trip they asked about, sets the two-hour expectation, gives your phone number. Built with the automations tool already in your Wix account. Includes checking the account's email allowance so there are no surprises. You submit a test inquiry on each form from your own phone and the reply lands in your inbox in under a minute.Approve or tweak the reply wording (Day 4 of your quick start).
3Popup off the inquiry pagesThe newsletter popup stops opening on the two inquiry pages and shows once per visitor everywhere else.On your phone, you open both inquiry pages and start typing your email into the form. No popup.Nothing.
4Every trip named in the SAILING menuEach international trip gets its own named entry, and the INTERNATIONAL CHARTERS entry points at your trips instead of the homepage.Open the menu on a computer; every current trip is listed and each one opens the right page.Nothing.
5The two Greece trips made unmistakableIts own photo for May 2027, a clear season label on each card, open cabins marked as loudly as FULL, one "now booking" line above the section. Your date order stays. The homepage on your phone shows two Greece cards you cannot confuse, and you can tell at a glance which one is open.Pick or approve the May 2027 photo.
6Last loose links and the eight LEARN MORE buttonsTwo blog links repaired, the contact-page button that links to itself fixed, and the eight identical LEARN MORE buttons renamed so each says which trip it opens.A link check on the live site returns zero broken links, and every trip button reads its trip name.Nothing.
7Background video swapThe same moving water at a fraction of the file size: a compressed loop plus a still photo that appears instantly while it loads. The homepage still moves, and the page weight drops from about 17 megabytes to under 5. Shown to you before and after.Nothing.
8Lighten the rest of the siteInstagram feed replaced with a light static strip or deferred, and the oversized photos compressed site-wide. The two unlabeled images inside the feed widget disappear with it.Every key page weighs under 3 megabytes on the same test.Say whether you want the Instagram strip kept or dropped.
9Your reviews on your own websiteReal quotes and star ratings from Google, Bing and Facebook on the homepage and both booking pages, each attributed to its source. You see your 4.7 Google stars, 5 Bing stars and 96 percent Facebook recommend on the homepage and both booking pages, with named guest quotes.Flag any review you would rather not feature.
10Connecticut pricing on the pageYour day-sail prices visible on the Connecticut booking page, in your words, without a phone call. The price is on the page. Guests stop phoning to ask.Send me the current numbers.
11Machine-readable details, page titles, photo descriptionsYour business details written into the pages in the structured format Google and AI assistants read. Google titles and descriptions rewritten, starting with the international page that was shown 302 times. The six unlabeled photos described.Google's structured-data checker shows your business and your trips with no errors, every page has a title that says what it is, and the photo count reads 76 of 76 described.Nothing.
12Search Console and Bing, in your handsOwnership of your Google Search Console confirmed and, if it sits with a previous designer, verified fresh through your own domain. Bing Webmaster set up. Your Bing address aligned with Google. You log in and see your own search data under your own account. Bing shows the address you confirmed.Tell me which street address is right, and whether to email the previous designer or skip them.
13Speed retest and written check-offEvery key page retested the same five-run way it was measured in the audit, before and after, and a one-page check-off of every line above. You get the before-and-after numbers and a list where every item is ticked with the proof next to it.Nothing.

Not included, and what each would cost if you want it

Client obligations

Six answers or approvals, most of them already on your four-day quick start: reply wording (2), the Instagram strip call (8), any review to leave out (9), the Connecticut prices (10), the street address and the previous-designer call (12), and the OK to file the Wix ticket from your account (1). Nothing else is needed from you, and no item waits on another item.

Guarantee wording

Fixed price. If an item cannot be delivered as described (for example, if the forwarding route fails on your site), that item's share comes off the price and I say so in writing rather than substituting something else quietly.

Internal note, not for the page: item 1 (forwarding) carries the most risk; the guarantee line covers it. Price unchanged from the 8/9 settlement.
